We also use service providers that process data on our behalf, such as our hosting and email provider. With third parties that process data on our behalf, we conclude data processing agreements to ensure the same level of security and confidentiality.
Our website does not use cookies for advertising or to track your browsing behaviour. We do use a few techniques and services that are needed to make the website work properly and securely:
When you accept the cookie notice, we remember that choice in your browser (local storage), so the notice does not keep reappearing. This information is not sent to us.
To protect our contact form against spam, we use Google reCAPTCHA. For this, your IP address and data about your use of the website, among other things, are passed on to Google; Google may place a security cookie for this purpose.
The fonts on our website are loaded through Google Fonts. In doing so, your IP address is passed on to Google.
On the contact page we show a map from OpenStreetMap. When the map loads, your IP address is passed on to OpenStreetMap.
The Minerals Sourcing Policy page shows a document through Microsoft’s online viewer. When it loads, your IP address is passed on to Microsoft.
Google and Microsoft may also process data outside the European Union. For this they apply appropriate safeguards, such as the EU-US Data Privacy Framework and the European Commission’s standard contractual clauses.
You can delete or block cookies and local storage at any time through your browser settings.
You have the right to access, correct or delete your personal data. You can also object to the processing or withdraw your consent. In addition, you have the right to have the processing restricted and to receive your data in a common file format (data portability).
To do so, send a request to info@liemo.nl. We will respond as soon as possible, and within four weeks at the latest. To prevent misuse, we may ask you to identify yourself.
We take appropriate security measures to prevent misuse, loss, unauthorised access or alteration of your data. These include secure connections (SSL), access restrictions and encryption where necessary.
Do you have the impression that your data is not properly secured, or are there signs of misuse? Then contact us directly at info@liemo.nl.
We do not keep your personal data longer than necessary for the purposes for which it was collected, or as required by law.
If you feel that we are not handling your data properly, please let us know, so that we can look for a solution together. You also have the right to lodge a complaint with the Dutch Data Protection Authority (Autoriteit Persoonsgegevens) via www.autoriteitpersoonsgegevens.nl.
This privacy statement may be changed, for example when our services or the law change. You will always find the most recent version on this page. This version was last updated on 1 November 2026.
Feel free to contact us — we are happy to help.
